About The Position

This is a part-time role for an Enhanced Support Staff to assist a young woman with OCD or Autism in building independence, fostering connections, and pursuing her goals. The role involves supporting her in her home and in the community, encouraging her engagement in activities such as musicals, theater, coffee outings, and social gatherings. The position offers flexible hours, ideal for those seeking meaningful work a few days a week, with shifts typically 2-3 days per week, approximately 4 hours each. The goal is to be a consistent and encouraging presence, helping her to live more independently and enjoy life.

Requirements

• Experience supporting individuals with OCD, Autism, or other developmental/mental health needs
• At least 1 year as a caregiver, TSS, PCA, or in a similar role
• Strong teaching and coaching skills
• Creativity, flexibility, patience, and reliability
