About The Position

Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services (VDM) is seeking a Part Time Driver to provide door-to-door transportation for Special Education Students. This role is crucial for ensuring students can access educational services safely and reliably. Requirements

Clean Driving record
High School Diploma
Ability to pass background
Clean DMV and Livescan background
Must be able to meet the insurance underwriting conditions
Must have an acceptable driving record
Ability to interrupt physical altercations among students and administer CPR/First Aid
COVID Vaccination Card (fully vaccinated) required
Driving experience transporting students

Nice To Haves

May be required to obtain a Class B Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Provide services in and around the Los Angeles County area
Pick up and drop off students
Maintain and update route sheets
Monitor and maintain order among the students on the school van following school policies
Complete daily van safety check including Check and add fuel, oil, and water as needed
Submit reports on mechanical defects and other reports as assigned
