About The Position

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a Part-Time Donor Scheduler in Gainesville, FL. This vital role involves inspiring individuals to schedule life-saving blood donation appointments, guiding them through the process, and promoting local blood drives and special events. The scheduler will also help guide donors toward apheresis donations when appropriate and contribute to meeting collection goals to ensure the community has the necessary blood supply. The position is part-time, requiring 20-25 flexible hours per week, including potential nights and weekends.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills – you’ll be the friendly voice that motivates others
A love for connecting with people and motivating them to make a difference
Comfort using phones and computers (we’ll provide training!)
Strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service, call center, and/or phone sales experience
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency in both English and Spanish (may qualify for additional compensation)
