Consider joining our family – take care of your career and your community! This is a part time position in the Deli department. Full weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) availability is required. Pay rate is $14.50 /hr. When you join us as a Food Clerk, you will provide customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. You will play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly and having a positive impact on the community we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude.
  • Building rapport with customers.
  • Displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
  • Setting up Deli service cases by 9 a.m., including signage.
  • Prepping and cooking rotisserie chickens, maintaining appropriate in-stocks throughout the day.
  • Setting up and producing hot foods for the service case from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Processing customer requests and completing orders daily for all service cases, hot and cold.
  • Taking party tray orders and producing daily needs.
  • Completing end-of-day cleaning of all hot and cold service cases.
  • Responding to customer questions in an effective manner.
  • Stocking product and maintaining product displays according to merchandising standards.
  • Utilizing technology to complete activities and tasks.
  • Following safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
