About The Position

Now Hiring: Part Time Daytime Babysitter. Have you worked as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer? Are you a retired teacher or teaching professional who is seeking a small environment rather than a classroom? Are you known as the family’s favorite Auntie? If this sounds like you, we welcome you to our babysitter team. You’ll provide care for children ages 1 and up while their parents work, so most assignments are Monday – Friday during traditional working hours. If you are engaging, communicative, and friendly, we’d love to hear from you. Several positions are now available in your area, ranging from 5– 20+ hours per week.

Requirements

Genuinely enjoy children and be an engaging, creative, child-focused individual willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and similar activities in families' homes.
Value communication with parents and coworkers.
Available at least two days per week to work 4 - 9 hour shifts between 7am - 7pm.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to commute to assignments.
At least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience.
Can provide 3 references, 2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, as well as 1 character reference.
At least 18 years of age or older.
Reliability is important.

Responsibilities

Provide care for children ages 1 and up while their parents work.
Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on observations of the children’s age-appropriate development.
Common sense clean-up of your activities and meals with the child.
