About The Position

Winder CNA Training is a Georgia-based healthcare training school expanding into the Chattanooga market. We offer American Heart Association CPR, BLS, First Aid, and BLS Instructor courses and are building a dedicated presence in the greater Chattanooga area to serve the region's growing healthcare community. This role involves leading classes independently, maintaining equipment, and building relationships with local healthcare employers. Requirements

• Reliable transportation — you'll be traveling to different class locations across the Chattanooga area
• Comfortable teaching groups of 6–20 adults with varying experience levels
• Professional, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching life-saving skills
• Must be able to lift and carry training equipment (manikins, bags) up to 40 lbs
• Must pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Current AHA BLS Instructor certification (if not, will train)
• Healthcare background strongly preferred (CNA, RN, LPN, EMT, Paramedic, RT, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Teach AHA BLS Provider, Heartsaver CPR/AED, and Heartsaver First Aid courses (typically 2 classes per week)
• Set up and break down classroom space at community venues (tables, manikins, AED trainers, course materials)
• Ensure all students receive proper skills evaluation and certification cards on the day of class
• Maintain training equipment in clean, working condition
• Collect payments and manage class rosters through our registration system
• Represent Winder CNA Training professionally and help build word-of-mouth in the Chattanooga healthcare community
• Coordinate scheduling with our main office and communicate any venue or student issues promptly
