Situated on 15 acres with two ponds, we offer a beautiful garden-like setting for retirement living. As a life care community, Freedom Square makes aging in place simple. Residents are able to seamlessly transition from independent living to assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing care, as their healthcare needs change. Innovative Home Services is seeking and experienced and caring CNA's and HHA's to provide personalized, high-quality care to our senior residents. We are looking for compassionate caregivers who take pride in their work and are committed to building meaningful relationships with those they care for. This position is a very flexible schedule with possible short notice requests to work. Late afternoon to evening hour availability is a plus.
Requirements
- Experience in Senior care - Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility support, and companionship.
- Passionate about senior care - Genuinely enjoys working with the elderly and making a positive impact in their lives.
- Flexible and Available - Able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, possibly with short notice availability.
- Strong Work Ethic - Takes pride in being loyal, reliable, punctual, and professional at all times while providing the best care possible.
- Compassionate and Patient Centered - Dedicated to enhancing resident quality of life with respect, kindness, and attentive care.
Nice To Haves
- Late afternoon to evening hour availability is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, toileting and exercising.
- Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
- Transfers and escorts residents as needed.
