About The Position
Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is looking for compassionate and dependable Caregivers, HCAs, and CNAs with experience caring for seniors to join our team. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, offering shifts from 4 to 12 hours. The role involves providing a range of care services to seniors to help them live safely and comfortably at home.
Requirements
- Active Washington State HCA or CNA certification, or proof of completion/current enrollment in an approved training program
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal background and fingerprint checks
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions in English
- U.S. work authorization required
- Reliable, punctual, respectful, and compassionate
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Physical ability to perform required caregiving duties
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and daily activities
- Help with personal care, hygiene, and dressing
- Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping
- Assist clients with appointments, walks, and outings
- Report changes or unusual incidents to the appropriate parties
- Respond responsibly in emergency situations
