About The Position

We are seeking Part-time Closer/Floater Teachers to join our team at New Horizon Academy in Johnston, IA! This role requires availability for at least 2-3 hours each day until 6pm. The hourly wage range is $14.40-$15.75 DOE. Applicants must be available to work any shift between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm. New Horizon Academy participates in the WAGE$ program, and teachers are eligible for Child Care Assistance with the State of Iowa, which can cover up to 100% of the cost of childcare for those with children attending our schools. Requirements

Must be able to work a flexible, full-time schedule, Monday-Friday.

Meet or exceed state qualifications for the listed position.
Have previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
