Surface Experts of Metro Detroit is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaning Technician to help prepare apartment surfaces for refinishing. This position focuses on showers, tubs, surrounds, and countertops. No windows, no floors, no toilets. This is a great fit for someone who wants a flexible schedule, steady weekly hours, and simple, consistent cleaning tasks.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Ability to work independently
- Must be punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
Responsibilities
- Clean and prep tubs, showers, surrounds, and countertops in apartment units prior to refinishing
- Remove soap scum, residue, and surface contaminants
- Follow simple prep procedures to ensure surfaces are ready for repair or coating
- Communicate with the team regarding completed units or issues found
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence in occupied and mostly unoccupied units
