About The Position

City Wide Jani Inc. is looking for reliable candidates to fulfill part-time custodian positions for medical facilities in Champaign, Illinois. Shifts vary between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekend availability.

Requirements

Availability after 6 PM
1-2 years of custodial experience required.
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50lbs.
Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risk and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Vehicle required.

Nice To Haves

Custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean interior areas including offices, waiting areas, restrooms, examination rooms, and kitchen/breakrooms.
Ensure adherence to OSHA and maximum safety procedures.
Empty trash from all receptacles.
Clean and sterilize restrooms and exam rooms.
Clean kitchen/breakroom.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpet.
Dust windowsills, air vents, and other areas.
Sterilize all high-use areas to reduce the spread of bacteria and other harmful agents.
Maintain the grounds surrounding the property.
Perform other duties as delegated by Supervisor.
Secure building upon completion and set alarm.
Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to the Operations Manager.
