About The Position
A family in Sacramento, CA 95822 is seeking an experienced, compassionate caregiver for their bed-bound elderly mother. The home is smoke-free and has one small Maltipoo. This is a private, family-hired position, and Wellthy provides Care Coordination services, connecting families with potential caregivers. Caregivers are hired directly by the family and are not employed by Wellthy.
Requirements
- Prior caregiving experience required
- Experience caring for individuals with limited mobility, including safe turning, repositioning, and transfers.
- Must be able to reliably commute
Nice To Haves
- First Aid/CPR certified
Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene and incontinence care, including bed baths and brief/diaper changes
- Safely assist with repositioning and turning in bed
- Assist with feeding and mealtime support
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Provide medication reminders
