About The Position
A family in Port Chester, NY 10573 is seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to support a senior married couple in their home 3 times a week. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The home is smoke-free and has one dog. This is a private, family-hired position, not through an agency.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience required
- Experience caring for those with Dementia/Alzheimer's required
- Must be able to reliably commute
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outings required
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States

- First Aid/CPR certifications
Responsibilities
- Medication reminders specifically for the husband
- Support and supervision with Alzheimer’s specifically for the wife
- Companionship and engagement
- Light housekeeping and tidying
- Meal preparation optional
