The cafeteria satellite attendant is a staff member who assumes the responsibilities and duties assigned by the director. This role involves the primary responsibility of cooking food, ensuring safe preparation and handling of food, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities, serving food, and assisting with record keeping. The attendant performs duties efficiently within the allotted time, attends training meetings, reports to work as scheduled, and maintains pleasant working relations with colleagues. They must follow all policies of the School Committee and instructions of the Cafeteria Manager regarding safety, sanitation, personnel standards, and work methods. Specific duties include assisting with food preparation, portioning food, cleaning the kitchen and work area, setting up the serving counter, serving food, washing dishes and dining room tables, unpacking supplies, stocking shelves, and operating equipment properly while maintaining safety standards.
