About The Position

Location/Schedules: School-Based Program Site Current Openings: Bergen Elementary School - Monday-Friday: 2:20PM-6:30PM Marshdale Elementary School - Monday-Friday: 2:25PM-6:30PM Parmalee Elementary School - Monday-Friday: 2:30PM-6:30PM Montessori of Evergreen - Monday-Friday: 3:00PM-5:00PM We are currently hiring for candidates who are available to work all five days for the entire shift as listed. We cannot accommodate partial shifts Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership Pay: $18-22/hour, based on experience Position Overview Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive.This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 18 years or older
- Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.
- Early Childhood Professional Certification (ECPC) - Level I or higher OR 355 hours of verifiable work experience working with children aged 4 and older
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.
- Serve as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.
- Support students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.
- Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
- Lead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.
- Facilitate homework help and academic support sessions.
- Participate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.
- Help students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.
- Assist with daily program setup and cleanup.
- Support student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Follow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.
