About The Position

As a Part-Time Starbucks Barista at Hilton, you will blend the world-renowned coffee standards of Starbucks with the luxury hospitality of the Hilton brand. You will play a vital role in the hotel's mission to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability while crafting premium beverages in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read, speak, and write English clearly to interact with diverse guests and understand instructions.
• Basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling, making change, and totaling charges.
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lb. occasionally.
• Open availability to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous barista, hospitality, or customer service experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality hot and cold Starbucks beverages, following established recipes and presentation standards exactly.
• Greet guests warmly, respond to requests in a friendly and efficient manner, and resolve any dissatisfaction with professional hospitality.
• Take guest orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, process various payments (cash, credit, gift cards), and upsell additional items to enhance profitability.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and seating areas; perform opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and securing the house bank.
• Requisition, stock, and rotate products (milk, syrups, beans) to ensure freshness and availability.
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines, including checking refrigerator temperatures and following company safety procedures.
