About The Position

This is a part-time banquet server position at the Dallas Marriott Suites. The role involves reviewing banquet event orders (BEOs) to understand menu details, room setup, and food, beverage, and audio-visual needs. The server will assist with setting up tables, buffets, and bars, ensuring the quality and presentation of food before serving, and preparing and serving beverages. Prompt and professional guest service is expected, along with communication with the kitchen regarding any changes.

Responsibilities

• Review BEO's for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audio visual needs.
• Assist the set up staff in table set up, buffet set up, bar set up, etc.
• Check quality and presentation of food before serving.
• Prepare and serve beverages for the function.
• Provide prompt and professional service to all guests.
• Communicate with Kitchen keeping update on any changes.
