About The Position
Sands Anderson PC, a Mid-Atlantic law firm with a proud history of serving businesses, governmental entities, and individuals, is seeking a skilled Part Time Litigation Attorney (to work 15 to 20 hours per week) with 6+ years of experience to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. We are looking for an attorney who brings sharp analytical skills, sound judgment, and a proven record of managing complex matters. The right candidate will have direct client experience, excellent writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to take ownership of cases from investigation through resolution.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of litigation experience.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters independently.
- A proactive, client-focused mindset with a collaborative spirit.
- North Carolina Bar admission required.
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of litigation matters across state and federal courts.
- Draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, and participate in mediations and trials.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver high-quality, efficient legal services.
