About The Position

This is a part-time role at the Norman Embassy Suites, located at 2501 Conference Dr Norman, OK 73069. The compensation range is $13.00 per hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. The role involves preparing, presenting, and maintaining complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception services, ensuring cleanliness and readiness of service areas, and providing friendly and professional guest assistance. The position requires adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, monitoring food quality, and supporting team operations. Flexibility in availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary.

Requirements

No experience necessary, a great attitude and love for teamwork are key
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during your shift
Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Restaurant, customer service, or cashier experience preferred
Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)

Responsibilities

Set the stage for a great guest experience by preparing, presenting, and maintaining our complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception
Keep everything clean, stocked, and guest-ready—buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment
Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and handle questions or concerns quickly and professionally
Jump in where needed—whether that’s light food prep, restocking, bussing tables, or supporting bar/service areas
Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and team members
Monitor food quality, proper storage, and temperature standards throughout your shift
Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently
Communicate key updates during shift changes to keep everyone aligned
Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and report any issues as needed
