About The Position

The Part Time Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate serves as a role model for customer experience practices and a positive store culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and respect. Duties include processing customer purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, maintaining merchandising standards, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and supporting store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. Other duties may be assigned. This is a temporary, part-time position at Marshalls Store 0809 in Madison, Alabama. The starting pay range is $12.75 to $13.25 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
