About The Position

Poclain Hydraulics is seeking part-time Assembly Technicians to build hydraulic motors and components. This role involves hands-on mechanical work with a three-day schedule, offering opportunities on all shifts. The position supports the company's goals for safety, quality, and production within a global manufacturer of hydrostatic transmission systems.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret assembly drawings and understand torque specifications.
• Basic math skills, attention to detail, and a focus on quality.
• Dependable attendance and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of basic hydraulic principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic motors and subcomponents according to drawings, work instructions, and torque specifications.
• Install seals, bearings, shafts, and other components using manual, pneumatic, and electric tools.
• Perform fastening and press-fit operations with proper control of tools and parts.
• Inspect components and assemblies for proper fit, alignment, and quality.
• Use measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Record production and inspection results and report nonconforming parts.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and support continuous improvement.
