The Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center (PRC) in the College of Health and Human Development seeks to hire a part-time administrative assistant to assist with administrative duties. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Serve as receptionist as needed for the PRC main office; greet visitors and provide information, answer main phone line, provide assistance or redirect as appropriate. Support and coordinate weekly seminars; serve as lead contact for conference room scheduling and technology support, set up equipment for meetings and presentations, troubleshoot issues and/or arrange for support, order meals and refreshments when needed. Sort and distribute mail, prepare daily mail slips for outgoing mail, receive and send packages. Provide assistance to administrative team members in the preparation, processing, and submission of financial forms (e.g., travel reimbursements, purchasing card reconciliations, etc.) The Pennsylvania State University is committed to and accountable for advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in all of its forms.
