Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring, and summer. Postings close yearly and to maintain your application within the system, you will need to re-apply each year.
Requirements
- Master's degree in English or other humanities-related field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with leadership at a community college or educational institution is a plus.
- Demonstrated teaching ability is the top priority.
- Instructional experience and leadership experience at a community college is a priority.
- Ability to use an on-line platform.
- On-line delivery of instruction, use of technology for instruction, and experience or interest in project based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning will be given special consideration.
- Teaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and delivery of instruction for day, evening, and weekend classes.
- Responsible for student assessment and grading.
- Maintains adequate on-campus presence.
- Provides timely communication with students, staff, and administrators of the College.
