About The Position

As part of the talented Boston Whaler team, you will ensure that we are driving a clean and damaged free part mold to drive excellent quality to our Parts. This is an essential position to production to create the unsinkable legend! Working in part and prep, you will be responsible for prepping molds which includes cleaning the molds using the proper materials. Once the molds are formed you will be responsible for parting the molds and ensuring that there is no damage that occurs in this process. You will need to know how to operate a fork truck as well and overhead cranes. Keeping the area clean and free of debris is essential to keeps the molds free of debris. Requirements

Must follow all safety and quality standards at all times, including chemical handling standards and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Must be able to operate all equipment associated with job functions.
Must use judgment when moving molds.
Must complete classroom and on the job training.
Use judgment in performing process requirements to meet established deadlines.
Must be able to detect mold defects.
Must keep tools in good working order.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
Ability to work with fellow coworkers in close proximity and in a team environment displaying mutual respect
Ability to fluently speak, read, understand, and write English
High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

Basic skills in forklift, overhead hoist, and computer skills preferred

Responsibilities
