About The Position

This Part Conductor is responsible for managing and auditing spare parts inventory across multiple satellite and PCS storage locations, ensuring accurate stock levels through daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts. The position supports cost efficiency by identifying vendor savings and serves as a key liaison between multiple vendors to resolve issues and maintain effective workflows. Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, and organizing new, clean, and repair parts, managing workstreams, troubleshooting inventory discrepancies using standard operating procedures, and supporting 6S and TPM initiatives as an area owner. The role also involves forklift operation, equipment test station support, and adherence to safety standards, quality systems, and evolving SAS procedures, while demonstrating strong integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Pay: $25-30/hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. Requirements

  • Associate Degree (2 Year Degree preferred)
  • Minimum 6month experience managing inventory
  • Self-motivation and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Work independently, follow direction with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to handle repeated lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in safe manner at all times, avoiding shortcuts that have potential adverse results/risks, and must be able to comply with safety standards and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Audit and Manage inventory levels of spare parts in satellite storage locations.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
  • Identify cost savings between different vendors.
  • Liaison between multiple vendors addressing issues and or concerns effectively.
  • Stock, label, workflow, inventory spare and repair parts in all PCS Storage location including PCS FSF Cages.
  • Manage work-streams for new/ clean / repair parts.
  • Use Standard Operating Procedures to troubleshoot and restore inventory issues.
  • Conduct work routines that comply with rules & systems based operation best practices while ensuring SAS procedures are continuously evolving and current
  • Promotes key values: Conducts duties of the position with truth, sincerity and fairness
  • Conduct duties as 6S area owner for PCS TPM support
  • Forklift operation for equipment move
  • Equipment test station operations
