About The Position

Parkway Systems supports H-E-B's Supply Chain and Retail Stores by providing (as a retailer) and servicing materials handling equipment (MHE). As a Parkway Dispatcher, you'll schedule and monitor progress of mechanical work, and provide customer service to internal and external customers. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 0-2 years of mechanical experience
  • Experience using a 10-key by touch
  • communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Parkway Systems operations and policies
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Advanced communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Bi-lingual (English - Spanish) skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects / tasks; attention to detail
  • Ability to review complex issues with senior management
  • Able to work a flexible schedule as needed including staying late as dictated by business needs

Responsibilities

  • Uses software systems to schedule and track technicians' work progress
  • Assigns new work; communicates with technicians to confirm progress
  • Ensures planned maintenance is accurately scheduled and completed
  • Tracks technicians' time sheets
  • Creates new work orders per customer or technician requests
  • Answers customer questions; confirms work orders have been accomplished
  • Creates /audits reports to track outstanding invoices
  • Enters / validates billing information into system
