About The Position

This position leads the delivery of a multi-million-dollar capital and maintenance program impacting over 8,500 acres of parkland. The Supervisor directly influences asset lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and operational performance, and plays a key role in advancing modernization, data-driven decision-making, and organizational effectiveness. Coordinate and manage the Three-Year Maintenance Plan and facility projects in collaboration with Facilities and Highway. Manage Carpenter team and support the carpenter shop, including project scheduling and participation in design solutions. Oversee asset management programs, including preventative maintenance tracking, lifecycle management, and replacement forecasting.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or GED equivalent.
  • Five years of experience in parks or golf course maintenance, administration, or planning, two years of which were in a second-level or supervisory capacity.
  • Recognized post high school education with specialization in parks management, horticulture, landscape architecture, forestry, or a directly related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis up to three years of the general work experience.
