About The Position

We're looking for a motivated team player to join our crew and help keep our parks, streets, and facilities looking top-notch. The primary quest is to be a key player in maintaining the beauty and functionality of Lake Havasu City's public spaces. This is a hands-on, get-dirty kind of job. You'll be the person ensuring our parks are ready for events, the grass is green, the facilities are working, and the city looks its best.

Requirements

A "Can-Do" Attitude.
Some experience in construction, landscaping, or maintenance work is a plus.
Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to figure things out and make repairs on the fly.
A Valid Driver’s License.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle manual labor, often outdoors in various weather conditions.
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
Must meet and maintain all necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

Mowing, weeding, planting, pruning, and keeping landscapes pristine.
Mastering irrigation systems.
Assisting with concrete work, minor construction, and building repairs (plumbing, painting, carpentry).
Giving new life to city facilities.
Operating equipment like excavators, backhoes, tractors, and chainsaws.
Setting up fields for local sports and ensuring everything is perfect for special city events.
Keeping amenities clean, emptying trash, and generally keeping things tidy.
Collaborating with colleagues, sharing knowledge, and providing great service.
Performing varied tasks such as trimming trees, patching asphalt, or setting up holiday decorations.
