About The Position
Under immediate supervision, the Groundskeeper II landscapes and maintains grounds of property using hand tools, power tools, or equipment. The employee typically performs a variety of manual tasks, including planting, watering, fertilizing, maintaining irrigation systems, athletic turf maintenance, and minor construction projects. The City of McAllen is a rapidly growing city with a population close to 148,000. Responsibilities
- Landscape and maintain property grounds.
- Plant, water, and fertilize plants and grounds.
- Maintain irrigation systems.
- Perform athletic turf maintenance.
- Complete minor construction projects.
