About The Position

Southern Valet, powered by Propark, is seeking reliable, energetic, and exciting individuals for immediate openings in their valet operations in downtown Greenville, SC. This role focuses on hotel valet operations. The ideal candidate will cheerfully greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently, explain parking rates, and provide instructions for self-parking guests. A key aspect of the role involves inspecting vehicles before taking possession, maintaining company uniform appearance, resolving issues, and being a positive presence. The job requires being outdoors and active for most of the day, involving standing, walking, and occasionally lifting items up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

• You are at least 21 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
• Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Nice To Haves

• Valet parking: 2 year+
• Customer service: 2 year+
• Manual transmission driving experience: 2 year+

Responsibilities

• Always cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them upon exit.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
• Explain the parking rates and provide instructions for guests to retrieve their self-park vehicles.
• Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
• Maintain company uniform appearance.
• Resolve issues.
• Be outside and active most of your day, standing, walking, and sometimes helping with items weighing up to 50lbs.
