About The Position

MAV Event Services is seeking motivated, dependable, and energetic individuals to join their Parking Team. This role is crucial as it represents the first impression for guests attending various events such as concerts, sporting events, festivals, fairs, conventions, and special events. The Parking Team is responsible for managing the guest experience in the parking lot, directing traffic, and ensuring smooth operations. Ideal candidates enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, directing traffic, assisting people, and being part of major events in the Treasure Valley.

Requirements

• Willingness to work parking assignments throughout the season
• Reliable transportation to and from event locations
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout assigned shifts
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Cell phone required; smartphone preferred for scheduling and communication tools
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a team
• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check
• No felony convictions or pending felony proceedings
• No medical condition that would require an accommodation to preclude you from standing, walking, roaming, and performing general security and parking duties.
• General technology skills to use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicle traffic safely and efficiently
• Manage parking lot operations and traffic flow
• Assist guests with parking, wayfinding, and processing payments
• Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and team members
• Monitor parking areas for safety concerns and report issues to supervisors
• Support ingress and egress operations before, during, and after events
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude under pressure
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing both MAV and our clients
