About The Position
As a Security Dispatcher, you will be central to maintaining communication between the Security team and Management. This role involves answering calls, managing radio traffic, and ensuring critical information is quickly disseminated to the appropriate personnel. You will handle a variety of tasks, from managing emergencies to overseeing daily operations, requiring quick thinking, multitasking abilities, and a thorough understanding of established procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Skilled communicator with a solid knowledge of radio and telephone operations preferred
- Ability to quickly and accurately manage security communications and reporting systems preferred
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all internal and external guests
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate security officers to handle incidents, emergencies, and service requests across the property with fast and effective action
- Stay in constant contact with the Global Security Operations Center
- Monitor cameras, access control systems, and alarm panels at all times to quickly spot and respond to potential security issues
- Keep clear and accurate logs of all communication, incidents, emergencies, and security activity in real time for reporting and follow-up
- Follow emergency procedures during events like fires, medical situations, or active threats, while keeping strong communication with local authorities
- Work with police, medical teams, and other outside agencies as needed to give support and share information during incidents
