About The Position

The department of Parking and Transportation within the Division of Administration and Finance provides access to the campus through alternative commute options and parking programs that mitigate traffic congestion and improve air quality through the reduction of mobile source emissions. We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Parking Operations Support Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator II). Requirements

  • High School diploma or the equivalent and three years of experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work or the equivalent.
  • Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for the required experience on a year for year basis.
  • Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
  • Thorough mastery of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Expertise in using office software packages, technology, and systems.
  • Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects.
  • Ability to independently interpret and apply policies and procedures and use judgment and discretion to act when precedents do not exist.
  • Ability to troubleshoot most office administration problems and respond to all inquiries and requests related to work area.
  • Ability to understand problems from a broad perspective and anticipate the impact of office administration problems and solutions on other areas.
  • Ability to analyze operational and procedural problems and develop, recommend, and evaluate proposed solutions.
  • Ability to perform business math, analyze budgetary data, and make accurate projections requiring some inference.
  • Ability to effectively write and present own reports.
  • Ability to effectively handle interpersonal interactions at all levels including highly sensitive interpersonal situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in higher education, parking and transportation services, or public administration.
  • Familiarity with adjudication process or citation management.
  • Experience managing or analyzing parking space inventories, lot utilization, or facilities data.
  • Experience coordinating signage, facilities-related projects, or vendor services.
  • Knowledge of California parking regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write and present reports.
  • Experience in T2 Flex Parking Management Software or the ability to quickly learn and use T2 Flex and other technology and software programs.
  • Experience managing and communicating customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, implements, evaluates, and documents all operational and procedural tasks related to signage, parking assets, and adjudication.
  • Provides administrative support to the Parking and Transportation department through effective written and verbal communication and demonstrated proficiency in the T2 Flex Parking Management System, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard office equipment.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure assignments are completed accurately and professionally.
  • Supports campus-wide parking, transportation, and wayfinding by overseeing the tracking, distribution, and maintenance of all signage across CSUF, including parking lots, structures, and traffic signage.
  • Evaluates and presents recommendations related to operational, procedural, and regulatory matters across a variety of projects.
  • Maintains accurate records of campus parking assets, including infrastructure, utilization, and compliance with accessibility standards to ensure that parking facilities support campus operations, event logistics, and long-term planning initiatives.
  • Accurately and efficiently enters, verifies, and updates citation data in T2 Flex to ensure timely processing of parking citation records by assisting with clerical duties and supporting adjudication team members.
