About The Position
University Book Store is looking for two upbeat, customer-focused people to work in the parking lot of our flagship store on the Ave. These are seasonal, part-time, hourly positions with set schedules, and are expected to last through mid-January. While performing some duties of this job, the employees will be outside and exposed to all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Love to provide high-quality customer service
- Excellent communicator
- Comfortable being on your feet for long periods of time
- Embrace all the seasons that the Pacific Northwest has to offer
- Dependable and committed to following through on responsibilities
- At least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers
- Process payments
- Utilize available resources to assist customers
- Maintain accurate paperwork
- Light cleaning of lot and attendant booth
- Cross-train within other departments of the Book Store, and perform other duties as assigned
