About The Position

Park Inc. is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Parking Attendant Ambassador to join their team in Blacksburg, VA. This part-time role is ideal for students or those seeking a side hustle, offering flexible hours with opportunities for growth. The position involves maintaining the appearance of the parking garage, enforcing parking regulations, providing support at different locations, and working during Virginia Tech home football games and other local events.

Requirements

Must be available to work all day for every single VT home football game.
Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, kneel, or climb if needed.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be neatly groomed and presentable.
Punctuality and a stable work history are essential.
Customer Service Skills: Friendly, professional, and able to handle guest concerns effectively.
Communication Skills: Clear and courteous when interacting with guests and team members.

Experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

Keep the Midtown facility looking sharp, clean, and welcoming.
Enforce parking regulations, including writing citations.
Serve as a fill-in person at the Kent Square garage when other team members are out.
Manage the parking and customer flow on Virginia Tech home football game days.
Assist during other local town events and peak times.
