About The Position
Park Inc. is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Parking Attendant Ambassador to join their team in Blacksburg, VA. This part-time role is ideal for students or those seeking a flexible side hustle, offering approximately 4-6 hours per week with additional hours required for major game days. The position is primarily located at the Midtown Parking Garage, with potential fill-in shifts at the Kent Square Garage. This role offers the opportunity for growth as new businesses open in the vicinity.
Requirements
- Must be available to work all day for every VT home football game.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and enforcing citations.
- Adaptable and flexible to work at different locations (Midtown and Kent Square) and take on extra event hours.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Reliability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance of the Midtown facility, ensuring it is clean and welcoming.
- Enforce parking regulations, including issuing citations.
- Provide fill-in support at the Kent Square garage when needed.
- Manage operations and assist Hokie fans during all Virginia Tech home football games.
- Support local town events and peak operational times.
