Parking Lot Attendant / Préposé au stationnement
About The Position
As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and assisting customers, directing them to available parking spaces, and monitoring the parking lot for safety and efficiency. In this role, your alertness and quick thinking will be essential as you address various situations, such as double-parked cars, open windows, and lights left on. You will also play a vital role in communicating occupancy levels to our valet team, maintaining clear traffic pathways, and reinforcing compliance with parking regulations and signs.
Requirements
- Organizational skills
- Must be an alert, bright and quick thinking individual
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with pedestrians, providing clear information and assistance as needed
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (summer/winter)
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Team player
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and direct them to the parking areas.
- Monitor the parking lot (double-parked cars, lights on, open windows, etc.)
- Provide updates to valets (occupancy levels).
- Ensure that traffic areas remain clear.
- Reinforce the respect of the signs.
- Report all incidents.
