About The Position

At Fast Park & Relax, the Parking Guest Ambassador plays a vital role in delivering a smooth, efficient, and welcoming arrival experience for our guests. This position is responsible for managing parking operations within a designated area, ensuring safe traffic flow, maximizing parking capacity, and providing exceptional customer service.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in dispatching, customer service or a related field.
  • Experience handling high-volume phone calls and radio communications.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to effectively handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts calmly and efficiently.
  • Proficient in basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps and directions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be able to work 12am - 8am.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in parking, hospitality, or customer service is preferred
  • Knowledge of parking procedures (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Direct incoming and outgoing traffic to available parking spaces using clear hand signals and verbal communication
  • Monitor parking areas to ensure efficient space utilization and prevent congestion
  • Enforce parking policies, including time limits and restricted zones
  • Assist guests with questions regarding parking availability, directions, and procedures
  • Resolve parking-related issues such as lost tickets or vehicle lockouts
  • Communicate regularly with team members to maintain efficient operations
  • Operate parking equipment including gates, ticket dispensers, and payment systems
  • Track and report parking activity, including occupancy, revenue, and incidents
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parking facility
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
