The Parking Facilities Manager will oversee operations at our primary commercial garage, acting as the main point of contact with the Property Manager and Tenants. This role involves attending meetings, responding to requests to foster good working relationships, and repairing parking equipment. The manager will be responsible for preparing revenue reports, adjusting parking rates based on industry knowledge, and maintaining optimal levels of transient, monthly, and event parking. A key aspect of this role is working towards obtaining new business and expanding the company's market presence. The manager must ensure all locations operate on schedule, conduct regular facility walk-throughs to enforce operating procedures and policies, and perform daily inspections focusing on customer service, cleanliness, attendant appearance, revenue control, and safety. They will also be responsible for implementing and enforcing proper revenue trails, interviewing and screening candidates, and supervising daily activities of onsite employees. Training and development of employees, distribution of disciplinary actions, and maintaining professional relationships with employees, customers, and clients are also crucial. The role involves resolving complaints, reconciling parking tickets and cashier reports, acting as a liaison between management and clients, ensuring safe cash handling and timely deposits, evaluating and delegating priorities, performing minor equipment repairs, developing plans to enhance customer service, updating operating manuals, identifying and recommending solutions for operational problems, and inspecting/recommending improvements for facility appearance and cleanliness. The manager must be available for emergency situations outside of scheduled hours and implement quality control measures for contract compliance.
