About The Position

The Parking Attendant provides customer service to patrons and facilitates the flow of traffic through the gate by performing the following duties. This role requires a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and upholding the organization's mission, vision, and core values.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 1 year related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may consist of nights, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Must be able to work outside in the elements for extended periods of time.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk.

Responsibilities

  • Provides directions to customers for various locations in the city.
  • Resolves customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor.
  • Provides quality customer service to patrons.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Assists patrons with accessible parking locations and needs.
  • Directs patrons to designated parking spaces/locations within lot.
  • Coordinates with off-duty police traffic management to assist when needed.
  • Responsible for placement of cones and other traffic devices in locations as designated for traffic control by Parking Manager.
  • Consistently deliver the best in customer service.
  • Champion CRVA’s mission, vision and core values and comply with organizations policies and procedures.
