About The Position

Citrin is seeking a reliable, detailed-oriented person to join our parking enforcement & asset management team in Columbus, Ohio. The areas of operation will be downtown, short north and grandview. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Valid driver's license for at least one year (this does not include a temporary license).
  • At least 18 Years of age.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand through an entire shift.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, walking, and jogging.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • All Citrin team members are required to use dashcams while operating vehicles.
  • All candidates are subject to a criminal background check and/or motor vehicle record check after a conditional offer is accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol an assigned area by vehicle or on foot to ensure public compliance with existing parking ordinance.
  • Patrol properties to maintain safety.
  • Issue warnings and citations for illegally parked vehicles.
  • Locate suspicious objects or vehicles.
  • Communicate situation details to appropriate personnel.
  • Observe and report hazardous conditions that need to be resolved.
  • Make arrangements for illegally parked or abandoned vehicles to be towed, and direct tow-truck drivers to the correct vehicles.
  • Enter and retrieve information pertaining to vehicle registration, identification, and status, using hand-held computers.
  • Use databases to locate investigation details or other information.
  • Maintain assigned equipment and supplies such as; Tools, Hand-held citation computers.
  • Direct vehicle traffic in garage properties to reduce congestion.
  • Assist motorists or pedestrians at assigned areas.
  • Sweep up assigned areas.
  • Take out the trash at assigned areas.
