We are seeking a highly motivated Park Ranger with excellent communication skills and a passion for outdoor settings to join our team! Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Moose Lake and Park Ranger Program, the Park Ranger helps protect the Moose Lake and Namur Lake reserve land and supports Fort McKay First Nation members who practice their Treaty Rights on those lands. Supporting the Park Ranger Program, this front-line, service focused position facilitates safe and positive community and visitor experiences and acts as ambassadors to protect Fort McKay’s natural and cultural heritage. This entry-level position introduces incumbents to a career in conservation and is the beginning career pathway of becoming a Park Ranger with Peace Officer designation. This is a permanent full-time position, working 7 days on and 7 days off, 12 hours per shift.
