Your New Role As a permanent, full-time, Park Ranger 1, you will play a vital role in protecting and caring for the landscapes, facilities, and visitor experiences within The Cove Palisades Management Unit. Each day brings something new as you work hands‑on to maintain park grounds, repair and operate facilities and equipment, and help preserve the natural and cultural resources that make this area exceptional. You will put your skills in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, landscaping, and general maintenance to use while also contributing to specialized programs such as resource interpretation, ecological restoration, utility system operation, and park rule enforcement. This position offers the chance to make a tangible impact, support a beloved public space, and ensure that every visitor enjoys a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience.
