About The Position

This is a seasonal role at SeaWorld San Diego, focused on supporting park shows during the Fall/Winter season, specifically for Howl-O-Scream and Christmas nights. The position requires individuals to be enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working to become Ambassadors. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and attend an in-person interview. Previous ambassadors are not eligible to apply for this specific role through this posting.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb stairs.
Must have strong written/verbal communication skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Must be able to work with cleaning machines.
Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time (often in direct sunlight).
Must be able to work in inside and outdoor weather conditions (i.e., wet/humid conditions and sun).
Must be able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages, and individuals with special needs.
Must have 5 days of unrestricted availability during peak season, to include the weekends
Must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Greets and provides guests with information about park shows and attractions
Communicates safety policies to park guests.
Opens and closes gates for shows based on guest occupancy and show time
Ensures excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations, and needs
Enthusiastically represents the park by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job
Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas
Perform other duties as assigned
