About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for the maintenance, repair, cleanliness, safety, and general appearance of parks, recreational facilities, athletic fields, playgrounds, buildings, and related public property. The role involves operating a variety of hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and light equipment to complete groundskeeping, landscaping, custodial, snow-removal, event-support, aquatic-facility, and minor repair assignments. The position requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and be available for emergency hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather when required.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, custodial maintenance, building maintenance, parks maintenance, construction, or a closely related field.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Possession of a valid PA driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Obtain within 12 months PA Pesticide Applicator License and Category 7 (Lawn and Turf) and Category 24 (Swimming Pools).
