About The Position

The Park Facility Attendant confirms rental agreement with primary contact person, opens and closes rental facilities, and resolves on site issues with user group. The primary position responsibilities and areas of impact are: Acts as a liaison between the City and customers; proactively contacts user groups before scheduled events to address needs; ensures a clean, safe and well-maintained environment prior to user groups utilizing the site. Works independently with customers on behalf of the city; partners with vendors as appropriate to ensure facilities can be effectively utilized; resolves escalated issues promptly. Ensures park ordinances, community use policy, and park rental guidelines are adhered to; communicates expectations to necessary parties; involves others as necessary to ensure consistency. While these areas are the primary focus of this position, we believe strongly in teamwork and employees will be called upon to perform a variety of duties as a part of their role with the City.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift/pull/push/move/carry up to 50 lbs, bend/stand/reach
  • Candidates must successfully complete and pass the City’s evaluation of the pre-employment process prior to their first day of employment
  • Pre-employment processes for this position include professional reference checks, background check, work verification and drivers license verification if applicable
