About The Position

This role involves preparing food orders according to guest preferences and established recipes, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and providing excellent guest service. The Park Cook will be responsible for setting up stations, restocking items, and ensuring all food handling and safety standards are met. Additionally, the position requires monitoring the safety and security of the park environment, de-escalating conflicts, and performing other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Set up stations according to USH restaurant guidelines and restock all items as needed throughout shift.
• Prepare orders according to the guest preference using established recipes, portions and methods established by the Company in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean work area, including the washing of dishes, pots, pans and other kitchen items while following established safety standards and safe food handling guidelines.
• Promote and provide extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance in a courteous manner.
• Understands and demonstrates the proper use of safety practices and ensures department standards are maintained and safety policies for the Park upheld.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols.
• Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
• Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
• Perform other duties as assigned
