About The Position
Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation is seeking outstanding individuals for park caretaking roles. This is a temporary position where employees are not eligible for County benefits and must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or 129 hours or less per month. These are 'At Will' employees, meaning they can be terminated for any reason without notice or a pre-termination hearing. Applicants will be assigned to a specific park upon hire, and assignments may change based on operational needs, vacancies, transportation, and proximity to home.
Requirements
- Must pass a required pre-employment background check.
- Must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.
Responsibilities
- Maintain parks around Salt Lake County.
