About The Position
Faithworks Total Ground Maintenance is hiring a dependable Park Attendant to help care for a scenic county park and nearby sites in the Astatula/Ferndale area. This is a great fit for someone local who likes working outdoors, takes pride in keeping a place clean and welcoming, and wants hours that grow. You'll start part-time now, with hours stepping up to roughly 32 per week in early August. The work is steady and straightforward, but it runs on reliability — the park opens and closes on a schedule, and visitors count on it being open and ready every day, weekends included.
Requirements
- You live near Astatula or Ferndale.
- Reliable transportation and a track record of showing up on time
- Weekend availability (the park needs coverage seven days a week)
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat and doing light physical work
- Must pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Open the park in the morning and close and lock the gates in the evening, on time, every scheduled day
- Make daily trash runs — empty receptacles, replace bags, and keep grounds and parking areas tidy
- Handle light grounds upkeep and keep the overlook presentable for visitors
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly
