About The Position

Facilitate parent education and support groups. Responsible for day-to-day program activities. Acts as a liaison to build relationships with partners, local organizations, businesses, educators, and healthcare providers to promote services and assist families. Schedules and facilitates daily parent education and support groups. Participates in program outreach events. Provides direct support to individuals by assessing needs, offering resource connections, and coordinating referrals. Maintains statistical records, case files, program forms, and required reports. Addresses challenges and adjusts strategies as needed. Provides individual and group activities. Teaches evidence-based parenting techniques. Evaluates family needs and provides tailored support for parents. Organizes interactive sessions to strengthen family bonds. Offers personalized guidance on parenting challenges. Executes assigned initiatives. Participates in required program training and certification as needed. Performs additional tasks as assigned to support teamwork and operational success.

Participates in and/or supports agency fund development activities and events.
Preparation of assigned reports, work records, statistical data, job performance evaluations, work plans, etc. in a timely manner.
Minimum 24 college units in early childhood education, child development, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience working with children ages 0–5 in a childcare or educational setting.
Bilingual - English/Spanish required.
Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish, fluently.
Experience in class facilitation, case management, and program coordination.
Experience and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of organizations and with people of all ages, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
Experience with organizing class activities, and workshops.
Knowledge of public health, social services, nonprofit operations & local resources.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in office software (Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to travel for community engagement and events.
Pass agency paid criminal justice screening including fingerprints.
Pass agency paid TB (Tuberculosis) screening.
Pass agency paid health screening and/or drug testing, if required.
Valid California driver’s license and Proof of auto insurance coverage.
Pass agency paid MVR clearance with no more than 2 points - if you are under the age of 25 our insurance company will not allow any points.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Child Development or a related field preferred.
